The South Bay Sprint and International Duathlons will be in a Run-Bike-Run format. On March 8th, 2014, athletes will be given a great opportunity to prepare for the upcoming triathlon season, continue their duathlon season, or just enjoy an endurance event in the beautiful bay area.
With a focus on safe and fun courses, we stand by our motto in creating the athlete experience. This super sprint triathlon makes the event extra appealing to the first timers and experienced triathletes alike. On April 19, 2014, we want to invite you to come for the race and stay for the party!
The Silicon Valley International Triathlon will fall onSunday April 20, 2014. The race will be followed by an expo and party of epic proportions. Pros, elites, and age group athletes will party to a different beat at the finish line while enjoying the warm sun, live music, and great awards. Triathlete's from all over the country agree that SVIT embodies everything that is great about our sport.
On May 18, 2014 we kick off the summer with a classic sprint triathlon. The 23rd Annual Morgan Hill Sprint Triathlon at UVAS Reservoir in Morgan Hill is one of the most pristine and beautiful venues in the world of triathlon. This event sells out early every year as local and destination triathletes vie for one of the 700 available entries to enjoy this unique sprint triathlon.
This is the perfect venue for a triathlon because of the with clean mountain fresh water and the race occurring in the beautiful Nimbus Flat State Park. The Folsom Sprint Triathlon will fill a void for the lack of sprint triathlons in the Folsom / Sacramento area. This event will attract hundreds of triathletes from all over! On June 8, 2014, the Folsom International Triathlon will attract racers from all over the western region. Participants will range from the world's top elite triathletes to beginner triathletes.. Athletes line up to attack one of the fastest International / Olympic Distance Triathlons in the U.S.!
The Folsom Long Course Triathlon will be held on June 8, 2014! This race will help prepare triathletes for for Vineman Full in July and Tahoe Ironman in September. This half distance triathlon (1.2 Mile Swim - 56 Mile Bike - 13.1 Mile Run) will have a two loop run and one loop bike course. Bring the family to this spectator friendly course and enjoy the festival all day long!
The Catfish 500 yard, 1.2 mile, and 2.4 miles open water swims will be held at Chesbro Reservoir on June 14th, 2014. This race gives swimmers and triathletes a chance to swim in one of California's scenic reservoirs. Chesbro is an ideal location by offering fresh water and beautiful surroundings for a warm summer day open water swim !
The California Sprint Triathlon will be held on June 28, 2014 in Pleasanton, CA. This event has a perfect venue and location for our next premier sprint triathlon in the bay area. Wrapped around the beautiful tri valley area, triathletes from all over Northern California will be in attendance in 2014.
We are adding to our already dynamic schedule of triathlon events in the Pleasanton and Livermore area. On June 29, 2014, this midsummer triathlon will be held in the heart of the Bay Area. Lets get you ready for the second half of the USAP season and other great local events!
The Oakland Triathlon Festival (Sprint/International) is all about the incredible triathlon community we have in Northern California. The history of Oakland is symbolic and the Oak Tree (strength and endurance) represents a triathlete perfectly, which makes this event a natural fit for many years to come!
